the rgb backlight keeps turning off after i dont use the keyboard for maybe 10 minutes. is there a way to turn off this feature so the backlight always stays on?

Sorry, can't. Because this is a feature of iGK6X keyboards: after not using the keyboard for several minutes, the keyboard will be in power saving mode - go to sleep.( of course, its backlight will be turned off.)
